Jishan Temple is located on the west side of Puji Temple. Its previous name was Yufeng Temple, which was created by Master Yufeng from 1573 to 1619. From 1662 to 1722, his sixth grandson disciple Tongen renovated the temple. Later, his eighth grandson disciple Yuanheng also renovated the temple. It was originally a dormitory on the west side of Puji Temple, and it became a self-supporting portal in the late Qing Dynasty. In 1912, the temple was managed by master Liaoxin of Banshan Nunnery. He raised funds everywhere and renovated it.

At the beginning of the founding of New China, master Qingfang and other masters lived here. In 1988, the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government approved that Jishan Temple was placed under the Buddhist Association of Mount Putuo. Now here is the dormitory of the Buddhist Association of Mount Putuo.
